Lake Powell 08

This past weekend Ka'ihe and I went to Lake Powell with some friends. Who would have thought that Going to the Lake two weeks before Thanksgiving would be such a succss. It was definately worth the trip! And yea the water was a little cold, but nothing we couldn't work with.

The water was higher than it has been in awhile so we decided go over to the Sand Hill. It was so steep and hard to climb, not to mention that we thought our toes were going to fall off because the sand was so cold. Eveyone kept saying they felt like their heart was going to pop out of their chest...Here we are when we finally made it to the top.

Here is a picture of the drive going into where the sand hill was. It was so pretty. The water looked like glass. I must admit I am really getting into wakebording, but my body is still sore from all of the hits I was taking. HaHa. Below is a picture of Ka'ihe doing what he does best. He loves to do weird things when he is surfing, and he is so good at it.

Something else unusual that we did this trip was we went riding at eleven at night. The boys all bought glow sticks to wear around their necks so we could actually see them if they ever fell in the water. There is something about dark water that makes the whole experience a lot more intense. This November lake trip was a blast!

Torture!
I thought getting your wisdom teeth pulled was suppose to be like a two day thing. You have them pulled and be over it by the time the weekend was over. I was so wrong. I got all four of them pulled last Friday morning and it is now Thursday. It has been almost seven days! Seven days and I am still trying to recover. I must say that the worst part of it all was not being able to eat. I am so sick of chocolate shakes and soup from the garden house, even though it is amazing. I actually can't wait to get back to school and living, and I know Ka'ihe is excited that I am starting to feel better too. He was so cute and was always taking care of me, but I think he got to see just how much i really do.

Las Vegas
This past weekend Ka'ihe, Tyson, and I drove down to Vegas for the weekend. My brother Austin, had a football game Saturday evening. Ka'ihe is doing his goofy smile in this picture. I love it! He makes me happy.
Below is Austin showing some mad skills on the football field. The timing in this picture is pretty perfect.
Here is a clip I got of Ka'ihe and Tyson passing at half time. I don't think they liked that too much....
Cuz here they are staring me down.

Our Wedding
I thought since most of you didn't get to go to our wedding in Hawaii that I would post some of our photos on here for everyone to see! Well, from what we had. We still haven't gotten all of our photos back yet...I love that the ocean is right there in this picture.

This one is from our reception in Vegas. Us happy as can be!
