CHRISTMAS EVE
Me and my Grammy. Me and my Hubbie. A family in my parents ward had an awesome Christmas lights display, so we went to watch after our Christmas Eve party. Before the song starts the radio host talked about the cost of lights and how they are trying to go green. We started recording a little too late so we only caught the tail end of it.

I Love Love...

The holiday season! Here are some of the things that I love...
1.Being around family and friends
2.The smells
3.Look of snow (not the cold!)
4.Real Christmas trees
5.Giving gifts
6.The big fireplace at my parents house
7.Receiving gifts
8.Good food
9.Grandma Hunt and Brown's homemade Christmas candy
10.Missletoe (then maybe I can get a kiss from my husband! haha!)
11.Hot Chocolate, which I have had every night for the past week
12.Wearing scarves, my Ugg boots, and getting wrapped up in blankets
13.I can finally eat the pomegranates that I have been waiting for all year.

This is what our christmas tree looks like this year. It's scrawny, tilted, blue, and was too tall for our little apartment. All of the qualities that Ka'ihe was looking for. Not the Christmas tree I would have chosen, but at least he is happy. And yes, our blue Christmas lights are strung around the center of the tree. =) Side note: Kaihe used a butter knife to saw off the top of our tree because I refused to let him use one of our good kitchen knives. Hehe! Get your own tools!
Here is a picture me, my husband, and 3 siblings before the big Thanksgiving feast.

Hurray!

A few weeks ago I finally finished school, and it has been so nice! Student teaching was a lot more stressful than I was expecting. I have tried to relax and enjoy myself the past few weeks but I now have another weight on my shoulders of finding a job. Cedar City is seriously the worst for jobs, especially trying to get a teaching job. But it's a good thing that we have so many good friends here in Cedar so I don't even care! haha!
Here is a picture of the second grade class that I taught. I had the opportunity to go and substitute for this class this past Monday. They were so excited that I was there for the day. They are cute.
