A couple weeks ago we decided to leave San Antonio and go back to Las Vegas for the rest of the summer even though we were suppose to stay until the end of August. It all happened pretty fast and there were a few things that we wanted to do before we left. One of them being taking Tre to the San Antonio Temple which was only a few minutes away from our apartments. We walked the grounds and had him touch the temple but all he cared about was the motorized handicapped chairs that were sitting in front of the doors, of course. =)
We also had to go see the Japanese Tea Gardens. We went with a girl that I know from Vegas and her husband and little boy. Ka'ihe went to Japan on his mission and he said they didin't even compare to the real ones but it was still cool to go.

We left San Antonio friday morning and drove to Dallas to spend the weekend with our good friends from Cedar, Ben and Sutton Fox. Seeing them was definitely the highlight of our summer! They took us to dinner at Grande Lux Cafe, a restaurant made by the founder of The Cheesecake Factory and very similar in style; in our opinion much better! We toured around Dallas and quickly realized how much better we liked it than San Anton. We went to jumpstreet, an indoor trampoline place, and got to jump around for an hour. Dodgeball was the highlight there, with Kaihe and Ben bouncing around, chucking balls at 10 year old kids! Let's just say it was very entertaining to watch those little kids get dominated!! Tre had fun jumping too. He kept laughing as we would hold him and bounce around. Kaihe laid him down and tried to see how high he could double bounce Tre. The highest was 36 ft.!! But at that height it started to get difficult trying to catch him on his way down. I wish we would've got pictures because seeing him fly was a sight I will never forget!

Worst Drive of our lives. The drive ruined Tre because he use to like his carseat but now he crys when we put him in there. =(
My dad was sweeping the floors and Tre got all excited and was panting all over the towns. We have to hide the brooms now because if he sees them he just crys until we help him sweep. It's his new favorite hobby.
Kickin Back.
We got back to Las Vegas and had to unpack and pack again to go camping the next day with my family for our family reunion. It was nice to be in the fresh air. Tre loved every minute of it. How could he not with all of the dirt and bugs. It was a lot of work for me but Kaihe and I went on a hike with my cousins while Tre was asleep. The boys (Robert, Ka'ihe, Tyson, Austin) started to have a rock throwing contest across this small lake. I opened my mouth and said, "Alright Amy it's our turn, I throw better with my left hand!." Not knowing that I would be the laugh of the camp. My throw was pretty powerful =) but it landed right in front of my feet barely hitting the water. My sweet husband got it all on film.
I would think that his favorite parts would have to be the dirt and his first time on a horse. I thought he would cry when I put him on put he really did love it. He was laughing so hard. This guy is pretty much fearless.
