A few things about Tre at 9 Months:
*He laughs when he sees pictures of himself and at his reflection on my phone.
*He gives me the most gooey slobbery kisses with his mouth wide open and his hand on my face and just lays it on me. I have to be careful though because sometimes he will lean in and bite my nose or my cheek and it hurts! He has 5 teeth now.
*Doesn't cry when strangers hold him anymore. yah!
*Like most babies he crawls around the house searching for plugs, shoes, and drawers he can play with.
*I love that he just sits and plays in his crib with his stuffed animals and talks until he is ready to fall asleep.
*One thing that I could live without though would be bath time. Tre refuses to sit during his baths. You think he would like to be in the warm water instead of freezing standing up but he just doesn't like to be still. I have to hold his hand while he walks around in the bath while I am trying to wash his hair at the same time.
A little over a year and a half ago I was doing my student teaching at Fiddlers Elementary. I got to love some of my 2nd grade and kindergarten students, but I saw their relationship with their parents and it really made me want to be a parent more than a teacher. I finished school the end of November and a month later I found out I was pregnant. I really didn't know how I was going to be a mom. I didn't know anything about taking care of babies. I didn't know how I was going to be able to change a poopey diaper or what to do when he cried. I couldn't imagine what my life would be like with a baby. Now that I have him I seriously don't know what I would do without him. I hate leaving him, and when I do I am thinking about him. I buy clothes for him over buying myself some, and u guys know thats a big deal. I'll wait hours to eat when I am starving just so he can be taken care of, and you know how much I love food. I will go weeks or months without exercising when I use to at least 3 times a week minimum. I no longer get to lay out by the pool, it's more of trying to entertain Tre in the pool. Well, you get the point. My life is so different but I don't care because I love my little Tre so much, and I love our little family. I am feeling very greatful today for my family. Ka'ihe has been working so hard this summer and even though it's not going as planned I could not be more proud of him. He works hard and always wants to do the best thing for us. I love them both.
