4Years + 4Days

Is the difference in age between Ka'ihe and I. I always look forward to the end of May when we get to celebrate both of our birthdays, only four days apart. This year Ka'ihe turned 29 and I turned 25. We didn't get to spend very much time together but we tried to celebrate the best we could. I surprised Ka'ihe by finding out what area he was working in and went and picked him up that night. He was so shocked and surprised. I went to lunch(Panera bread)and to a movie (Something Borrowed)for my birthday with a few of the wives that are here in San Antonio. We went back to our apartments and they surprised me with brownies and icecream which I wanted so badly. I don't think dessert has ever tasted better! The sign I am wearing says "Its My Birthday Shout Hooray!"

Schlitterbahn.

The largest water park in America, or so people say. We had the chance to go there this past Sunday and we were't going to pass up the opportunity for anything. We didn't know what to do at first going somewhere like this with Tre but he was such a good baby (only with a little more than an hour nap)! We had a blast!Small dose of what the Schlitter is about. We found Tre standing up trying to grab his baby monitor one morning when he was suppose to be taking his nap. Moved that baby right down closer to the gound.

San Antonio

We have been here for 3 weeks now. It has been a lot of fun and I can tell the summer is just going to fly by. Magnolias Pancake Haus is a favorite of ours. We are going to be coming here a lot. Their pancakes are way good along with everything else we have tried.

Tre in the pool. He Loves it! Even though it isn't warm he is all about it.. Not scared one bit. Tre finally got his hair cut! Look how cute he is and even with his constant drool pool. You can see the before picture above. One of my favorite things to do with Tre during the day is roll this soccer ball back and forth with him, he is getting pretty coordinated just like his daddy. ha.For Mothers Day we went to downtown San Antonio. I took this picture at the Alamo (our first stop) then we walked the Riverwalk and then went to the Rainforest Cafe there. I loved my first Mothers Day. Tre was exactly 8 months on the day so it made it more special. Precious Daddy time. Tre doesn't get it too often but he Loves his dad. Big Lou's...from the Travel Channel on Man v. Food! Take a look at this ginormous pizza! It may not look that good but Kaihe and I thought it was So-o tasty! We did not eat it all by ourselves. It took 12 adults to eat this thing.
